Overall Job Function:

The Bulk Truck Driver at Martin's Feed Mill will be responsible for safely and efficiently making local feed deliveries to our customers. This role involves operating a bulk delivery truck to transport feed products to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The driver will also maintain excellent customer service, fostering positive relationships with our clients through professionalism and friendly interactions. The position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage a flexible schedule, as the role is part-time and includes 3-4 workdays per week.

Essential Job Functions

  • -Safely operate a bulk delivery truck to transport feed products to local customers.
    -Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
    -Provide excellent customer service through friendly and professional interactions.
    -Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
    -Follow all safety protocols and regulations while driving and delivering products.
    -Assist with loading and unloading feed products as needed.
    -Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
    -Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates or issues.
    -Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck and equipment.

Education & Experience

  • -High school diploma or equivalent required
    -Valid CDL Class A or B license is required
    -Clean driving record with no major violations
    -Previous experience driving a bulk truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred
    -Experience in customer service or delivery-related roles is a plus
